Rocket Medical HSG and HyCoSy Balloon Catheters provide safe and effective uterine cannulisation for hysterosalpingography and saline hysterosalpingo contrast sonography.
- Compatible with aqueous imaging media
- Stylet options allow catheter to be shaped, which may be useful in difficult insertions
- Latex-free design to enable use in patients with a latex allergy
- Available in 5 and 7FG
- Top-up of imaging medium as required, using at the attached stopcock
- An insertion sheath is included to aid catheter insertion in the retroverted and anteverted cervix, without the use of a tenaculum
- R57422-00-ST is now known as R57432-00-ST... same device but with better enhancements. You can now use the catheter with oil base contrast medium, Lipiodol and sonographic foam. The handling of the new catheter is similar except the maxiumum balloon fill is 1.5ml instead of 2ml making it more comfortable for the patient. The balloon should ideally be filled with saline as opposed to air.
