Get a visual on the health of your liquid nitrogen dewars.

As dewars age the vacuum seal can deteriorate and start to fail. The failing vacuum makes the dewar less efficient at keeping in the cold and finally as the vacuum fails completely frosting of the dewar can occur as the nitrogen starts to boil off.

Until now labs could do visual inspections for frosting, measure the external temperature of the dewar or measure the level of nitrogen at specific intervals to determine if there is an increase in nitrogen used which would indicate vacuum failure.

The C2 thermal camera can give you a quick visual representation of the health of your dewars. It is another great tool to help you safeguard your cryopreserved gametes and embryos.
